Located in the east of Hormozgan Province and the strategically important Makran coastal region, the Minab Higher Education Center, affiliated with Hormozgan University, was formed by the merger of the Minab Agriculture and Women's Colleges. Today, it includes the following:

• The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences with the departments of Water Science and Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Computer Engineering
• The Faculty of Agriculture with the departments of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Horticulture, Landscaping, and Phytopathology
