The department also has international cooperative associations with some top universities and research institutes worldwide. Some faculty members of this department have intensive collaborations with Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Canada, and Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT), Germany. They have been working on international projects in the field of fish genomics and conservation physiology, and marine environmental studies and pollution.
